A paedophile councillor has been jailed for 27 months for raping a young girl more than 30 years ago. Daryll Pitcher, who sits on Isle of Wight Council, was convicted following a trial at Isle of Wight Crown Court of two charges of rape against the same girl in the early 1990s.
