Colin Farrell's Full Nude Scene Gets Cut

EDITED: Colin Farrell’s full-frontal nude scene in the upcoming A Home at the End of the World – in which he walks out of a bedroom in his East Village apartment without a stitch – has been clipped, PEOPLE reports. Farrell, 28, felt that the scene was too distracting, so it’s now on the cutting room floor. Last week, the magazine named the Irishman one of the world’s 50 most eligible bachelors in its fifth annual round-up, along with Ben Affleck, Tom Cruise and top bachelor (and coverboy) Orlando Bloom.

ESTABLISHED: Bill Clinton’s memoir My Life set a record for first day non-fiction sales, with 400,000 copies purchased in the U.S., says the former president’s publisher, Alfred A. Knopf, adding that it has printed another 725,000 copies in addition to an initial print run of 1.5 million copies. Clinton, 57, reportedly was paid a $10 million advance by Knopf, whose president, Sonny Mehta, tells the Associated Press that sales are “exceedingly strong” in other countries, too.

SET: Michael Moore’s controversial documentary Fahrenheit 9/11 got off to a record-breaking start at the two New York City theaters. It sold $49,000 in tickets at the Loew’s Village 7, beating the theater’s single-day record of $43,435 held by 1997’s Men in Black, according to distributors Lions Gate Films and IFC Films. At the Lincoln Plaza theater, 9/11 took in more than $30,000 to top the $24,013 set by Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon in 2000. A resident who lives above the Lincoln Plaza theater (where the movie is playing on three screens) described the activity around the cinema a “a zoo … moviegoers and TV news cameras. It’s a real event.” The movie opens wide on Friday.

BORN: Actress Leah Remini, 34, who stars on the CBS sitcom The King of Queens, and her husband of a year, singer-actor Angelo Pagan, 46, welcomed their first child June 16 in L.A. Daughter Sofia Bella weighed in at 6 lbs. 4.7 oz. The arrival follows this week’s news that Remini’s costar, Kevin James, 39, married his longtime girlfriend, model Steffiana De La Cruz, on Saturday in Dana Point, Calif.

DISCUSSED: Thomas Kretschmann, 41, is in talks to join Naomi Watts, Jack Black and his Pianist costar, Adrien Brody, in the cast of Peter Jackson’s update of the 1933 classic King Kong, says the Hollywood Reporter. He would play the boat captain who transports the eponymous gorilla to America. Shooting is set to begin this summer.

DISPUTED: Former Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee reportedly had to be removed by security officers at Las Vegas’ Bellagio Light nightclub on Sunday, though Lee’s manager said the musician walked out on his own. Lee, 41, was there to play DJ during a Father’s Day party, the club’s marketing director, Sean Christie told the Las Vegas Sun. “He was playing lousy music,” Christie said. “We told him to wrap up his set and make a graceful exit. When he refused, we said we would just pull the plug on him, which is what we ended up doing.” In a statement to AP, Lee’s manager said, “Tommy walked out of the venue … after 30 minutes into the show since it was clear that the ‘club’ management wanted him to play top 40 hip-hop tunes for their lounge.”
