A true narcissist, Liz Lemon believes she has found “the one” in Carol Burnett, who is her personality carbon copied in Matt Damon-form. Burnett is a pilot (no astronaut Mike Dexter, but pretty close!) and a trip on his airplane (not a euphemism) leads to their relationship’s demise. Stuck on the tarmac, Burnett keeps telling the passengers the plane will lift off in 30 minutes, which slowly leads to Lemon’s epic meltdown, rallying a revolt against her pilot boyfriend … which is as good of grounds as any for a breakup.
